- Guest mode stores fasting history on this device only.
- Which notes you opened can stay in this browser, and on your account if you sign in. That is not sold.
- If you sign in, history can sync to our servers (via Supabase) so you can restore it across devices.
- We may show third-party advertisements (including Google AdSense).
- For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we use Google Funding Choices (a Google-certified Consent Management Platform) so you can choose whether to allow personalized ads and related data use under the IAB TCF / GDPR framework.
- Ad partners may process device or usage data under their own policies when consent is given or as otherwise permitted by law.
- We do not sell your personal health data. We only collect what is needed to run the product and improve it.
- We count page views, Start/End taps, and sign-ins on our own servers. Start and End also let us know how many clocks are running. We do not store your IP or identity with those counts. We do not sell this. We do not build a profile of you.

What stays on your device
If you use the timer without an account, fasting sessions, settings, and legal-acknowledgement flags stay in this browser’s storage (IndexedDB / localStorage). Clearing site data or uninstalling the installed app deletes that local history. We cannot recover a guest log from our servers because it was never uploaded.
What we store if you sign in
Creating an account (email or Google sign-in) lets us sync history and, if you use Friends, a display name, friend code, and the fasting status you choose to share. That data is hosted with our database provider (Supabase). You can ask us to delete an account by emailing hello@myfastingclock.com.
We do not sell fasting logs, health notes, or contact lists. We do not build a public feed of your fasts.
Advertising and cookies
MyFastingClock is free. We may show Google AdSense ads to keep it that way. Google and other ad partners may use cookies, advertising IDs, or similar technologies to serve and measure ads.

In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we use Google Funding Choices so you can accept or reject personalized ads where the law requires a choice. You can also use your browser or device controls to limit cookies.
Site analytics

We do not sell your personal health data. We do not use your fasting history to target ads about medical conditions. Ad partners still operate under their own policies when an ad is shown.
Feedback you send through the in-app form is stored so we can improve the product. Include a reply address only if you want an answer.
